babies

in general creep me out. I am terrified of them, and have no draw to the fascination with them. It isn't that I hate them...I just am not enthralled with oggling or obsessing about them. Jackson is super little and very cute, but I mainly wanted to see Scott & Nicole, and make sure Nic was ok, and see if there was anything I could do for her. She is totally a mom now--so interesting to see the change--even in just 2 days I see her as so much more grown-up, it blows my mind. I bought Jackson 2 of my favorite books by my favorite author--Mem Fox, becuase I couldn't, in my mind, justify getting him clothes he'd grow out of, or toys he'd lose interest in. Books are always my first choice if I am giving gifts to children--no matter the age, because you really can't go wrong with a book! Now Jackson has in his collection, Wilfred Gordon McDonald Partridge and Whoever You Are--awesome books. His picture isn't up on the new baby section of the hospital's website yet, but as soon as it is I will post his ADORABLE picture...he really is a tiny little thing--super cute, with the teeniest hands I have ever seen...
