1st year teaching AP Language and Composition--Pretty proud!! Two 5s too!!!
Yes, 20 didn't pass, but there were only four 1s--and they were expected (two of them didn't turn in ONE assignment ALL YEAR)--so that makes 16 who were REALLY close to passing. Also, many of the 2s were students who need several revisions to polish their writing, so this type of exam isn't an accurate reflection of their learning!!
Too bad I won't be there in the fall to continue the trend.
