Exhaustion

is attempting to knock me over, but I fighting it.

Bad things:
No warm beach for spring break.
Still not sure what is going to happen with work...(I've resigned effective the end of the year to avoid going on a plan, but could be asked to be "rehired," which may not happen because of RIFFs, and it is just a mess).

Good things:
Vegas for the first time for a few days of spring break.
I'm reading some good books.
I have a fantastic group of women in a book club one of my colleagues started at the beginning of the year.
I am a good teacher.

I'm so sorry you're going through this with your job. Hang in there. Something good will happen.

What good books are you reading? I'm always in the market for good books. I've been randomly selecting books from the library shelves and finding some interesting reads. It's like gambling.

Thanks so much!!!

I know that everything happens for a reason, and I actually feel good about things right now. I just had a super moment of TIRED, and then things tend to get to me.

As for books, right now I am listening to Capote's In Cold Blood, reading Without You (a memoir by an original Rent cast member), Feed by M.T. Anderson, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Al Capone Shines My Shoes (the read a loud for my low kiddos), and just finished The Kite Runner and Catalyst (by Laurie Halse Anderson), and will be reading A Wild Sheep Chase by Haruki Murakami (for my book club's next selection). I also just got a whole stack from the library that I can't wait to get to.

I might have to try the gambling books thing...but there are so many YA books I have to read yet!!!
